An ugly welcome-back weekend

A Labor Day holiday gave students a welcome extended break after their first week of classes. For the staff of Residence Life, the weekend wasn t much of a break at all. Parties and drunken behavior marred the weekend and kept Residence Life and security busy at night. Three students were taken to the hospital for alcohol poisoning, all on one night. And Village IV Assistant Coordinator Ashley Ladyman was pinned against a wall while breaking up a party.
