Summer sessions start May 26

The Adult Studies Program has released the schedules for VWC’s summer sessions.

Four sessions will be offered in three, six and 12 week incremements. The first session begins May 26, runs three weeks and ends on June 12. The second session begins May 26 as well, runs 12 weeks and ends on August 14. The third session also begins on May 26, runs six weeks and ends July 12. The fourth and final session begins July 6 and runs six weeks ending on August 14.

Registration will be on a first come, first serve basis. There will be no designation between ASP and day classes. Adult Studies students can register in the ASP office Monday though Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Fridays 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Day students can register in the registrar’s office Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The tuition is the same of ASP and day students, however, adult students need to be aware that tuition has gone up and is now $220.00 per semester hour. A $50.00 deposit is required by all who register for summer sessions. In order to receive a refund, a class must be dropped before the first class meeting.

In addition to the same classes offered during the year, trips have been planned to Colorado, Spain and France which will help students fill foreign language or other requirements.

Registration for summer sessions will begin on April 1.
