The most hated fence.

A radiance of grayscale.

A lightened dark portrait of colored souls

Scouring for…

Speak for….

Combating for…

A piece of acknowledgement of harmony in the world

Beyond the dimensions of black and white.

He was just a man, no particular face

To stand with voices to frighten bigotry.

He searched for humanity in a world oblivious

To the vibrancy of shades on our flag.

He stood up for liberty

Shattering images of honor in vain.

He fought in animosity

One expression in a million.

In the head, a shell obviates scouring for the diamonds in civility.

In the leg, a shell prevents the combat fought for stability.

In the chest, a shell stalls speaking from the empty.

In ordinance, his structured life –

So simple and clean,

Obliterated from this earth

For the love and power to be free.
