Suffering Illness: Kelli Davis

Senior Kelli Davis was diagnosed with meningococcal disease on Feb. 15. Davis entered Chesapeake General Hospital on Feb. 12. She was treated and released on Feb. 13. She returned to Chesapeake General again on Feb. 13 when she was hospitalized.

At press time, Davis was in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit.

Davis, a communications major, has participated in various activities and clubs at Virginia Wesleyan. She is a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority, serving as the sorority’s president for 2004. She is the News Editor for The Marlin Chronicle and serves as president for The Society for Collegiate Journalists. Davis was selected Homecoming Princess her junior year and was a member of the Homecoming Court her senior year.
