September 12, 2007 1 hour Bear Making This activity was a lot of fun. I helped cut out the paper patterns for the bears, and I also helped cut out the patterns in the cloth. The bears in the end were adorable and I really hope the children will enjoy them.
September 14, 2007 3 hours Tutoring I am signed up to tutor Algebra 1, but no one showed up today. I tutor from 2:00 to 5:00 on Friday. I hope that someone will come next time. There was a girl who appeared looking for a tutor earlier, but she never came back. 
September 15, 2007 3 hours Clean Up Lake Taylor When I started walking toward Lake Taylor, I thought it was not going be much fun at all. But, as it turned out, I had a blast! My group ended up finding a large red bucket  and a tire. Other people found half a TV and a piece of a lawn mower! 
September 28, 2007 1.5 hours Tutoring Today I tutored for only 1.5 because there was no one here and I asked to leave early; however, two people did show up at one point during my secession. They had just taken a quiz in math and needed me to sign a page saying that they did their corrections. 
October 26, 2007 1 hour Tutoring Today no one showed up, again; it was absolutely dead. So I decided to leave early. I hope next time someone will come to tutoring on Friday. I understand it is Friday, but still, if someone needs help, I would like to help them. 
November 2, 2007 3 hours Tutoring Today in tutoring, it was not so boring. A student appeared, the same one that came a few weeks ago. He needed help correcting a quiz so that he could get extra credit. He was the only one that came today, but it was definitely a nice change of pace. 
November 15, 2007 1 hour Raising Money Today from 10:30 to 11:30 I helped raise money for Phi Sigma Sigma's Rock-a -Thon. They raise money to donate to the National Kidney Foundation. 
November 16, 2007 3 hours Tutoring Today, no one showed up again. I arrived as usual to my station at 2:00 and waited. I was hoping that someone would appear, or that someone needed help fixing a test or a quiz. Sometimes, some students will get extra credit for my help or for my signature saying that I check over their work.

 2 hours Tutoring Today, someone showed up and asked for help on logarithms, but that was the only aspect of math that I never completely understood. When I took Algebra, I would not have any problems doing my homework, but when it came time for the test, I always did terribly. Anyway, I tried to help as best as I could, but as it turned out, I was not any help at all. 
Total: 18.5 hours
