Being apart of the PORTfolio Program has connected me to the Hampton Roads community as well as gave me a better understanding of what a liberal arts education was.  I have been taught to be a flexible student, which has gave me the foundation needed to adapt to all job opportunities post college. 

The  PORTfolio program's focus is to share the liberal arts perspectives on the world and encourage the ability to question, deal with change, solve problems, and utilize critical thinking, working independently or in a group. I feel that I have mastered these abilities and look forward to applying my gained knowledge to build a successful career ahead.
