The struggle of balancing a family, work life and school is one that many adults are currently facing. My name is Brenda Matesig, fondly referred to as "B" by my family and friends, and I too am faced with this dilemma. My priorities in life consist of my immediate family, my husband and daughter, then my job of 15 years finally topped off with an ambitious desire to obtain my degree.

Some of the many roles that I "play" include the following:
    1. Mom to my beautiful 10 year old daughter Taylor
    2. Wife to a handsome husband, Frank, of almost 3 years
    3. Human Resources Specialist for HRSD for the past 15 years
    4. Daughter to two wonderful parents (Hi Mom and Dad!)
    5. YOUNGER sister to a sweet sibling, Donna
    6. Student on and off for the past 10 years at VWC
I have been very blessed with the support of my family and employer on my journey to graduation. I will finally reach my goal of graduation in 2005 with much hard work and dedication.
