9-10-08	1 hr.	Making CHKD Bears	I had so much fun making bears for the kids. My job was cutting out the bear pattern on all kinds of fun materials. My favorite material was the one with care bears all over it. I successfully cut out 7 bears. Next time I get the chance to make bears, I hope I will get the chance to finish a whole bear myself :)
9-10-08	3 1/2 hrs.	Babysitting	Unfortunately my coaches mother passed away, and I volunteered to baby sit his niece. Her name is Keele, and she is 2 years old. She is precious. We played games and ate gold fish. When it was time to go to bed, we read a book and then she went straight to sleep. She was by far the best baby I have ever watched. I had a great time with Keele :)
10-13-08	2 hrs.	SPCA cat adoption center	Today was my first day working with the cats ! I had a great time :) First I cleaned out all 8 of their cages, and then I got to get to know each of them. My favorite kitten for the day was a little grey tabby named Expresso. I also got to help get his brother, Chocolate, adopted. He went to a nice home with a loving couple!
10-16-08	2 hrs.	SPCA cat adoption center	Today I worked the morning shift. I got the nice surprise of having 4 new kittens that replaced 4 other kittens that had been adopted. I cleaned their cages and made sure everything looked in tip top shape for adoption hours later that night.
10- 21-08	2 hrs.	SPCA cat adoption center	Today I got a kitten adopted!!! A sweet little white tabby was adopted today. The man who adopted him came in looking for a playful pet to surprise his little girl with when she got home from a trip with her mother. I was so happy that the kitten could go home to a nice family. I love all of the cats that I work with and it is sad for me when they get adopted, but I am so glad that they are going to loving homes. It is much nicer when they get to live in nice comfy houses instead of cages.

10-23-08	2 hrs.	SPCA cat adoption center	Today we got 6 new kittens!  I let them all play together. Everyone seemed to get along and they were all happy. We had a family look at 3 of the kittens today, so I hope that they at least adopt one of them!
11-11-08	2 hrs.	SPCA cat adoption center	All of the kittens and cats are doing wonderful. We got a couple of new older cats that hopefully will get adopted. It is always so much harder for a cat to get adopted over a kitten. I have had so much fun working with the SPCA. I only have a few more days left until I leave for winter break.
11-19-08	1 hr.	Making CHKD Bears	I made about 7 more bears today ! I got to turn them right side out and then stuff them. I attempted to sew them together but I did not succeed and another classmate helped me out. I have so much fun putting together the bears because I know that they will make some child happy when they are all finished.
11- 20-08	1 hr.	Food Drive	I gave a total of 20 cans for the can food drive. I helped arrange all of the cans that the softball team had received from the players. Tons of cans were donated by the athletic teams! I participate in the can food drive every year and I am always glad that I can help.

11-25-08	1 hr.	Trash Pick up	I spent an hour walking around campus before I left for the holiday, picking up trash. I picked up a lot of trash near V1 and the parking lot. I try to pick up trash whenever I can because this is where I currently live for the school year and I want it to look nice.
11-24-08	30 min.	Making CHKD Bears	I helped stuff some more of the bears. It is getting near Christmas and I hope that all of the children get a chance to have a bear.
