Date and Time Type of Service Organization  Reflections
Sep. 2nd 2009/ 1.5 hrs. making bears CHKD This was an amazing experience that was very interesting and made me realize how what we may see as a small thing is actually a very big thing to many other people.
Sep. 18th 2009 / 3.5 hrs. unloading food for families in poverty Stop Hunger Now Although this was extremely tiring it was a wonderful thing to know that I was a part of helping people in hunger.
October 19th 2009/ 1.5 hr. tutoring elementary students After school tutors I love tutoring kids because I really feel like it it something that truly impacts a child's life and helps them improve in so many things. I absolutely love to be around kids. In general it wouldn't matter what type of mood I am, there always seems to be a special spark in a child that lights up my day and makes me appreciate life.
Nov. 8th 2009/ 3hrs Lacrosse Clinic  VWC LAX This is truly an event that I look forward to doing every time it occurs. Not only does this even consist of lacrosse but also working with children which are two things that I absolutely love doing. 
Nov. 15th 2009/ 3hrs Lacrosse Clinic VWC LAX Once again this event is something that I truly enjoy. This week I worked with elementary kids and was able to teach them a lot about lacrosse and other small life things. I feel like every time I take part in this I am learning something about myself as well as teaching kids, which it something that I always love to take part in. 
Nov. 22nd 2009/ 3hrs Lacrosse Clinic VWC LAX This was the last week that the team helped with the lacrosse clinics and it was by far the best week. We really were able to get to know the girls and it was a lot of fun. I felt like I got to truly help the girls learn more about the game of lacrosse and help a lot of them also break out of their shell through the aid of sports. Overall it was an amazing experience and I would do it again any day any time.
Nov. 22nd 2009/ 3hrs. Bear making     CHKD I cut out the designs for the bears for the children's hospital and I also turned and stuffed some of the bears as well. I love doing these types of thing because I know that the little bit of time that I put into doing this I am truly helping make a child's day.
