§         Observed psychological testing and one on one therapy sessions with students in grades k-5.

§         Participated in home visits with school social worker.

§         Lead a small reading group with three second graders.

§         Brainstormed ideas about how to help students succeed in the classroom.

§         Oversaw how the child life specialist helped families cope with their child being in the hospital.

§         Played with the children when families needed a break.

§         Set up opportunities for children to take their minds off of being in the hospital.
