9/13/06- 2 Hours

Cooking for Kids

 I enjoyed cooking for kids.  It was very rewarding to make all of that food knowing it would be going to deserving kids.  I want to do more Cooking for Kids in the future.

9/21/06-1 Hour

Relay for Life- Changing

  For the Relay for Life team at VWC we split up into groups and went changing in all of the villages.  My group went to V2.  I was surprised by how much change we collected.  We collected $100.00 total.

9/23/06- 6 Hours

Apple Gleaming

  I didn't like this experience.  For starters we didn't to pick apples.  We had to pick tomatoes and eggplants.  I did not enjoy that at all.  However, the weather was very nice.  It wasn't too hot or cold.  I wouldn't do this again unless it was picking apples.

9/29/06- 3 Hours

Getting Donations for Relay For Life.

 We went to a local mall and tried to get stores to donate things for a Relay For Life raffle.  We were not very successful.  Only three stores donated things for our cause.  It was very disappointing but it was a good experience.
 

  11/8/06- 1 Hour

           Making Bears for CHKD I helped make bears for the sick children at CHKD.  This was my favorite activity because I knew these children would be grateful for the bears.  It is nice to receive a gift when you're in the hospital.  I would love to do this activity again.
