Bake Sale

October 26, 2006 in Blocker Common Area from 10 am to 1 pm.  We need goodies and cashiers.  The proceeds will benefit the Officer Wally Fund.  All items .50 cents - hotdogs, chips, drinks, goodies.  Join us and help a worthy cause.

Fall Conference

November 3-4, 2006 in Lynchburg, VA.  All members are welcome to attend this fun overnighter.  There are wonderful workshops to attend. This year our own Dr. Sullivan will be a featured speaker.  Stay tuned for more details.

"What Every Teacher Needs to Know"

November 18, 2006 in Blocker Auditorium from 10 am to 12 pm.  Come and listen to a panel of experienced teachers and principals answer questions about the first years of teaching.  You don't want to miss this event.  Former student and SVEA president Heather Seagraves and Beth Scott will be a part of our panel.
